About The Position

Bunkhouse Burgers is hiring cashiers and cooks to round out our stellar crew! We offer hand-formed burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, house-cut fries and a sidecar of our own crafted custard in cup, cone or shake form. We aim to deliver something old school that folks still look forward to finding and driving to and thru.

Requirements

1-2 years prior cashier experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
Ability to handle stress under pressure
Basic math and calculation skills
Basic knowledge of POS systems
Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team

Responsibilities

Greeting and acknowledging every customer
Providing excellent customer service by being fast, patient, attentive, and using clear and positive communication
Maintaining thorough knowledge of products
Upselling when appropriate or requested by management
Accurately and efficiently completing all sales transactions
Maintaining proper cash and media accountabilities at POS registers
Ensuring cash drawer is balanced at the end of shift
Calling out customers’ orders when they have been completed
Keeping work area neat and clean, restocking items as needed, and cleaning lobby and dining areas
Preparing food and beverage items as needed
Inventorying supplies and goods
Handling customer concerns and finding a solution or when appropriate bringing in a manager
Communicating customers’ requests to management
Troubleshooting POS problems
Performing other duties as assigned
