Cashier/Cook Aide
About The Position
This position is for a Cashier/Cook Aide for the 2026/2027 School Year, with 6 hours of work per day. The specific site is to be determined. The role requires demonstrated knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and proficiency in software applications such as word processing, database, and spreadsheet software. The individual must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds unaided and be free from physical limitations that would interfere with required physical duties. The position offers development in all aspects of food services operations and requires the ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience in a cafeteria or food services setting
- Demonstrated knowledge of student nutritional program and building menus
- Demonstrate knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
- Able to demonstrate proficient software applications to include word processing, database and spreadsheet software
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds unaided
- Free from physical limitations that would interfere with required physical duties
- Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements noted on the job description
