About The Position

This position requires an individual to be able to work the specific positions of: front window, fill bank, marker bank, Dispatch Cage on a rotational basis. The role involves ensuring transactions are done correctly and safeguarding Westgate assets. It also requires providing friendly and accurate service and operating all necessary equipment to provide management and customers with accurate information.

Requirements

  • At least one year of casino and cash handling experience.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in order to complete job requirements and communicate with other employees.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language clearly to ascertain and document important information, to follow written and/or verbal instructions, and to provide clear direction/guidance.
  • Ability to relate to all levels of management, employees, and guests in verbal/written form.
  • Ability to organize/prioritize work, meet deadlines, work with minimal supervision and multiple interruptions, exercise judgment, and adapt instructions/directions from one assignment to another.
  • Ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift and remain calm during emergency situations.
  • High school diploma or GED Equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to guest inquiries.
  • Provide guest satisfaction through assistance, direction, and information.
  • Provide and obtain accurate information by following Westgate procedures and guidelines.
  • Assist cashiers and other departments in completing transactions correctly.
  • Adjust to new situations and personnel and implement policies by instructing the correct manner in which to conduct transactions.
  • Schedule discipline, counsel, and document when applicable.
  • Verify and accurately complete transactions, ensuring checks are completed correctly and the right amount of markers, chips, and cash is given or received.
  • Communicate with customers to determine the nature of transactions to ensure satisfaction for all parties.
  • Access and input information using a moderately complex computer system.
  • Grasp, bend, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move racks of chips weighing a maximum of 40 lbs. on a continuous schedule.
  • Maintain attendance in conformance with standards.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
