About The Position

As a Cash Processing Teller, you will perform various tasks related to cash processing and deposit handling. This role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to company policies and regulations. You will be responsible for verifying deposits, identifying suspicious activities, meeting productivity standards, and ensuring accurate fund transfers.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Cash handling and balancing experience highly desired.
1-2 years teller experience preferred.
Must have strong data entry skills and experience.
Must be Detail-oriented with basic Math skills.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Verify assigned work and inspect deposit bags for evidence of tampering.
Perform deposit processing functions including reconciling any out-of-balance conditions.
Maintain compliance with all company policies including state and federal regulations.
Identify Counterfeit, Suspicious Activity (SAR), and any potential AML Red Flag Transactions and immediately report same to Supervisor.
Meet or exceed all established deposit processing productivity standards.
Verify cash settlements are accurate and transfer funds to appropriate vaults.
Identify and share process improvement opportunities.
Work independently without direct supervision or oversight.
