About The Position

The Cash Application Specialist is responsible for accurately posting medical payments, managing accounts receivable, and utilizing various software systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. The position involves working at a computer for extended periods, performing data entry and typing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of experience in medical payment posting required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel (formulas, sorting, filtering).
  • Comfortable using accounting or financial software and navigating electronic payment systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Professional phone etiquette.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior accounts receivable experience preferred.
