About The Position

Apex Entertainment is currently looking for a part-time, friendly, responsible, and experienced Cash Clerk with weekend availability. This role involves managing and reconciling cash from various sources within the facility, ensuring financial accuracy, and assisting with financial operations.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Professional, confidential, and courteous demeanor.
  • Thorough understanding of basic accounting.
  • Experience handling large sums of cash.
  • High School Diploma required or GED equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of experience working in a finance role, banking or accounting experience a plus.
  • Proficient with all MS Office Applications.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule; position may require some weekday hours when needed.
  • Saturday and Sunday availability is a MUST.

Nice To Haves

  • Payroll experience a plus.
  • POS/Centeredge experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Counting and reconciling cash from multiple till banks from the prior night.
  • Preparing banks for numerous tills throughout the facility.
  • Reconciliation of Centeredge POS reports.
  • Balancing and maintaining all the money from the facility (kiosks, cash registers) and verifying that all numbers match.
  • Preparing/resetting tills for multiple cashiers for the night of or previous days sales.
  • Pinpointing areas of concern to the General Manager and Financial Coordinator.
  • Helping solve financial inconsistencies and checking for discrepancies and working together to come to a resolution as quickly as possible.
  • Assisting as back-up to the Financial Coordinator if needed.
  • Performing other tasks assigned by Management.
