About The Position

One of the largest tanning salon chains in the country, with over 250 salons across 20 states, is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Management Specialist to join our Accounting team. This position is responsible for ensuring the accurate recording and reconciliation of daily cash activity while working closely with stores, banks, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and support daily accounting operations.

Responsibilities

Monitor and reconcile daily cash deposits from multiple store locations, investigating discrepancies and communicating with store management, financial institutions, Loss Prevention, and other internal departments to ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
Reconcile assigned bank and operating accounts, researching and resolving reconciling items in collaboration with the Accounts Payable team and other departments as needed.
Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and supporting documentation for daily, weekly, and month-end accounting activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
