About The Position

The Cash Management Operations Specialist supports the bank's commercial customers by ensuring smooth delivery, maintenance, and servicing of cash management products and services. This role plays a key part in onboarding new business customers, troubleshooting operational issues, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver a high-quality customer experience. The specialist ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all cash management functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in banking, bank operations, or cash management preferred.
  • Familiarity with NACHA rules and electronic transfer regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and/or assist with onboarding of new cash management customers, including documentation, product setup, and training.
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for business customers using ACH, wire transfers, remote deposit capture (RDC), online banking, positive pay, and other cash management services.
  • Provide timely and professional support for customer inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and escalating technical problems when needed.
  • Assist with periodic customer reviews to ensure services remain aligned with business needs.
  • Process and monitor daily cash management transactions, including ACH origination, wire transfers, and RDC deposits.
  • Review and verify positive pay files, exception items, and fraud alerts.
  • Maintain accurate records of client setups, permissions, and service agreements.
  • Ensure all cash management activities comply with bank policies, NACHA rules, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with audits, risk assessments, and internal control reviews related to cash management services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes affecting cash management operations.
  • Work closely with Cash Management Specialist, Business Development Officer, Commercial Relationship Managers, Deposit Operations, IT, and branch staff to support customer needs.
  • Participate in product enhancement discussions and provide feedback on system performance and client experience.
  • Support training efforts for internal staff on cash management products and processes.
