The Cash Desk Cashier is responsible for managing a float (bank) that must always be kept in balance. This role involves replenishing the bank to maintain the proper level and ensuring all aspects of cashiering are handled throughout the shift. As a front-line guest service employee, the Cashier must be polite, friendly, and helpful to guests at all times. The position also requires maintaining the security of the cage, preventing unauthorized access, and being personally accountable for any shortage or overage in their bank at the end of the shift. Additionally, the Cashier is responsible for logging and accurately maintaining Title 31 compliance.
