About The Position

JBS is seeking a Cash Application Specialist to join our Shared Services team at our Corporate Office in Greeley, Colorado. This role will support the implementation of upcoming projects and play a key role in maintaining accurate cash application and customer account records. Requirements

• 1-2 years of customer service, accounts receivable, accounting, finance, or related experience preferred.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work successfully under strict deadlines.
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Apply daily customer payments and deposit batches.
• Research remittances that do not fully relieve customer invoice balances.
• Maintain and organize supporting documentation and records.
• Create and manage deduction data on customer accounts.
• Process account adjustments submitted by the Collections team.
• Research open items related to previously applied customer payments.
• Investigate open deduction balances and determine whether available credits or funds can be applied.
• Collaborate with Shared Services departments to resolve account issues.
• Create and maintain weekly progress reports for department updates.
• Participate in weekly meetings to discuss concerns, updates, and resolutions.
• Utilize third-party systems, SAP, and SAP S/4HANA to support cash application activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
