About The Position
Record payments to customers’ accounts and maintain accounts receivable records by performing the essential duties.
Requirements
- Three or more years of cash applications experience
- High School Graduate or equivalent

Responsibilities
- Daily application of cash receipts to customer accounts in A/R subledger for various lockboxes through the A/R System.
- Ensure accurate application of customer payments and exception handling
- Post all payment types by verifying and entering transactions from lock boxes, electronic payments, and local deposits.
- Notate account discrepancies by obtaining information from customers remittances.
- Enter adjusting entries to write off valid authorized discounts/ deductions within granted terms and/or approval authority.
- Assist Credit Managers with investigating account discrepancies and managing unapplied cash receipts for timely resolution
- Process checks received through remote desktop deposits
- Other duties as assigned
