About The Position

HUB International is seeking a Cash Application Senior Analyst to serve as a Team Lead within the Cash Application team, which is part of the Hub Financial Center (HFC). This team is responsible for the accurate and timely application of payments, reconciliation of accounts, and overall financial integrity within internal accounting operations. The Senior Analyst will partner with leadership to support team operations, lead key initiatives, provide guidance and analytical support to Team Analysts, and identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency. This role is ideal for someone looking to expand their leadership impact and growth, playing a crucial part in team success, solving complex challenges, and driving meaningful work.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting, guiding, or mentoring others within a team environment, including leading initiatives, projects, or special assignments from start to finish.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, connect information, and recommend solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across teams.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and helping others succeed.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field, or a professional certification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned initiatives and unique workstreams, helping drive projects from planning through execution.
  • Analyze cash application activity, identify trends and opportunities, and provide insights that support informed decision-making.
  • Act as a Team Lead and resource for Analysts, providing guidance, support, and analytical direction on assignments and complex issues.
  • Help drive consistency across the team by reinforcing best practices, supporting problem resolution, and promoting high-quality outcomes.
  • Partner with leadership to communicate progress, identify risks, and help keep priorities moving forward.
  • Contribute to process improvements, documentation efforts, and initiatives that enhance team performance and operational effectiveness.
