About The Position
Provide excellent customer service while performing varying daily tasks in a grocery store environment. The role is engaged in selling groceries and includes assisting customers in the store and by phone, operating cash registers and a POS system, stocking products, and supporting store operations.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of high-volume cash handling and processing experience.
- Detail-oriented.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Assist customers in the store, by phone, on the computer, and throughout the store.
- Work with coworkers daily and assist in training store personnel.
- Operate cash registers and the POS system.
- Downpack food products and stock inventory daily.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts quarterly.
- Work with management to resolve obstacles associated with products and services.
- Perform general housekeeping.
- Adhere to all safety standards and procedures.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
