About The Position

The Cash Analyst is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all global cash receipts and disbursements.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree (Accounting or Business degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of insurance accounting experience.
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate all incoming receipts from Treasury Services and maintain excel spreadsheet to ensure all receipts are properly identified.
  • Record, identify, and distribute electronic cash receipts for Reinsurance Accounting.
  • Apply daily cash receipts and disbursements for assigned book of business.
  • Confirm changes to client’s banking information and start workflow
  • Resolve all cash and account discrepancies through research and communication with the accounting units and all internal/external clients including all domestic and international branch offices.
  • Perform billings/collections of the monthly premiums for Treaty Installments and Facultative Certificates
  • Assist in the preparation of special projects, monthly analyses, etc.
  • Meet all cash closing schedules on a timely basis.
