About The Position

The Teen Services Caseworker provides comprehensive case management and housing-related services while ensuring the safety of clients and program spaces. This role participates in program coverage and outreach activities, ensures the collection, documentation, and reporting of information and data as required, and works as a member of the Teen Services team to support and achieve outcomes aligned with program goals and the agency mission. The population served includes youth between the ages of 12-21 who are currently homeless or experiencing housing instability.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field of study, or comparable combination of education and relevant experience.
Understanding of the Preble Street mission, Harm Reduction, Housing First, and social and economic justice including the role of policy advocacy.
Understanding and positive regard for individuals experiencing homelessness and/or living in poverty.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Hold certification or become certified in First Aid and CPR (on-site training opportunities offered).
Provide proof of education (diploma or transcript).
Have acceptable background check results, including BMV.
Must attend recurrent, regularly scheduled trainings provided on-site.
Reliable transportation is required.

Nice To Haves

Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field of study, or Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and 2-3 years relevant experience is preferred.
