About The Position

This is a temporary position with the Agency Office of State Human Resources Division Temporary Solutions. The role is classified as a Casework Associate I (S). The agency's mission is to provide a solid Human Resource management foundation, responsible oversight, and creative solutions through a collaborative approach with all stakeholders to maximize the potential of its employees. This specific temporary position is located at 100 Bonnie Lane, Suite A, Sylva, NC 28779 in Jackson County with the Department of Health and Human Services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a discipline relative to the program served from an appropriately accredited institution; or Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in an area related to program that provides experience in techniques of casework or counseling; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing IL/VR consumers
• Completing IL/VR applications
• Gathering information to determine eligibility
• Provide follow-up with consumers, employers, vendors, and other agency personnel as needed
• Document substantial services and critical information through progress and annual reviews
• Assist with billing processes
• Other related tasks assigned by the supervisor
