About The Position

The Delkor Case Packer is responsible for recording accurate records and production identification, maintenance, and efficiency of packaging cheese. Always adheres to all USDA, GMP, and safety regulations. This role requires regular attendance and work to be performed at the Tulare-Paige plant site.

Responsibilities

Will report issues/concerns to Supervisor on duty pertaining to personnel, GMP, quality and safety
Setup all equipment and supplies- this includes but not limited to….Case Erectors, Case Packers, Top Case Sealer, In-Line Scale, Case Labeler, Case Ink jet, Palletizers, automated tail-off equipment, and glue machines.
Responsible for generating and documentation of production records
Will check and verify all codes, labels, and packaging
Will verify that correct cheese and vats are being packed within specifications
Responsible for reading computer print outs and following a designated schedule
Will ensure communication of product changeovers, products to run before and after changeovers, and duties based on workstation rotation to fellow employees
Will complete quality checks on film and code dates, product boxes, and use of tare weight and correct lot number usage
Responsible for taking product samples when needed
Responsible for all department documentation
Ability to work in a safe and sanitary manner in compliance with GMP’s
Responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly and neat work area
Attendance at work is an essential job duty.
