Ideal part-time position for former law enforcement professionals
About The Position
Liberty Healthcare and the California Conditional Release Program are seeking experienced law enforcement professionals for a part-time Case Worker position. This role focuses on enhancing public safety and preventing recidivism by providing intensive supervision, case management, and behavioral health services to adult sexual offenders on court-ordered conditional release. These field-based positions require driving and transporting clients within Santa Cruz and Santa Clara Counties, with the flexibility of some work-from-home. This is an ideal opportunity for retired law enforcement professionals to stay active in the field, utilize their criminal justice expertise, and contribute to community safety with a high degree of independence.
Requirements
- At least two years of professional law enforcement experience (parole agent, probation officer, police officer, military police, or correctional officer)
- California driver’s license
- Auto insurance
- Willingness to use personal vehicle to transport clients
- Basic computer skills

Responsibilities
- Driving and escorting clients to appointments
- Ensuring clients comply with their court-ordered release terms
- Observing and monitoring client movement and behavior
- Documenting client activities and encounters
- Assisting clients with obtaining employment, benefits, and other entitlements
Benefits
- $30.00 to $35.00 per hour (depending on experience)
