About The Position

This role is for a Case Worker in the Futures Department, focusing on Youth, Young Adults and Family Services within Community Based settings. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate is a passionate, empathetic problem-solver with a deep understanding of mental health and substance abuse challenges, committed to empowering individuals and helping them regain confidence and stability. The role involves providing behavioral and socially rehabilitative services, collaborating with clients and a multidisciplinary team to address emotional wellbeing, finances, social life, and career goals.

Requirements

  • A degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a similar field—or a solid combo of education and real-world experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Active listening skills.
  • Ability to build trust and motivate others.
  • Ability to support your team, share knowledge, and help lift others up.
  • Comfort working with people from all walks of life and commitment to creating inclusive spaces.

  • Meeting all safety and compliance standards (if driving is needed).
  • Readiness to earn Benefits Planning certification within a year (especially in Employment Services).
  • Flexibility to work in the community, meeting clients in homes, centers, or drop-in spaces.
  • Organizational skills to manage paperwork and compliance.
