The Residential Caseworker renders direct casework and conducts assigned group work to assist clients within The Salvation Army- Crossroads Residential Services Bethany Home policies and program. This role involves developing and following case plan goals, building relationships with social workers, running risk assessments, and completing discharge processes. The Caseworker will also provide responsible case management services, conduct individual counselling sessions, and maintain client file records. Communication and reporting are key, including maintaining accurate statistical records and reporting incidents promptly. Other duties include practicing professional ethics, cooperating with co-workers, and representing the organization professionally. The role requires working in cooperation with other staff members and treating all clients, staff, and members of the public with respect, dignity, and confidentiality. Participation in staff meetings, training, and formal evaluations is expected, along with adherence to the Policy & Procedures Manual and Employee Handbook. The incumbent is responsible for working safely and reporting unsafe conditions. This position reports directly to the Program Coordinator or designate and has no direct reports. The role involves using or maintaining organization assets in accordance with established guidelines and has no budget responsibilities or financial transaction processing.
