About The Position

As a Case Study Proctor, you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge research, responsible for executing case study sessions with connected devices and precision. Your role is to ensure data integrity by strictly adhering to study protocols, serve as a professional guide for participants, and maintain the performance of hardware like sensors and wearables to capture high-fidelity research data. This position requires a blend of technical troubleshooting skills and a professional, participant-focused approach, ensuring all collected data meets high standards of quality, confidentiality, and safety.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of work experience
  • Proven ability to follow complex, detailed research or technical protocols without deviation.
  • Hands on experience troubleshooting hardware sensors, and software interfaces.
  • Proficiency in secure file handling procedures and data upload systems.
  • Skill in setting up physical spaces and technical equipment for optimal performance.
  • Ability to maintain accurate logs and generate clear, concise issue reports.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills, specifically the ability to explain technical tasks to non-technical participants.
  • A calm, professional demeanor, especially when working under time constraints or handling technical delays.
  • High situational awareness to catch subtle errors in case study or participant behavior.
  • Unwavering commitment to ethics, confidentiality, and data security.
  • Adaptability to support shifting schedules and evolving study needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct case study sessions in strict accordance with approved study designs and research protocols.
  • Provide clear, concise instructions for participants to ensure they understand procedures and adhere to study requirements.
  • Prepare, calibrate, and organize collection equipment, connected devices, and physical/remote environments prior to each session.
  • Monitor data streams in real time, making protocol-compliant adjustments to maintain data integrity and prevent loss.
  • Perform secure data uploads using authorized systems, verifying successful transfer and storage while maintaining strict participant privacy.
  • Identify and report hardware, software, or procedural glitches. Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to Tier 2 support.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and data confidentiality standards, ensuring prompt reporting of any incidents or deviations.
  • Maintain the flexibility to support urgent or ad hoc case study needs within defined service levels.
