As directed by the Warehouse Management System (WMS), users will be expected to follow system direction to complete daily activities. Activities are done by utilizing the WMS through either radio frequency (RF) equipment, pick to light technologies, or computer-based workstations. The role involves working within various areas of distribution such as: Receiving, Case Pick Modules, Shipping, Returns, DEA, Freezer, and Refrigerated space. Responsibilities include picking case quantities and building pallets for extended periods, picking replenishments in the Refrigerator and Freezer, and retrieving replenishments from drop zones to deliver to pick modules using a pallet jack. The operator will also operate a powered stretch-wrap machine, build and break down pallets as needed, and verify inventory levels by performing cycle counts in the WMS. Assorted WMS tasks such as receiving incoming materials, counting, sorting, verification of item numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates, data entry, and other visual verifications will be conducted frequently. The position requires the ability to use a pallet jack and may involve training to use a walkie-rider. Maintaining good general housekeeping practices in accordance with standard operating procedures and reporting any housekeeping issues to the supervisor is essential. Participation in user training, including hands-on job training, material handling safe practices, WMS navigation, and SOP training, is expected. Employees will also be expected to assist with the training of new employees. Performing other assigned tasks as directed by management and maintaining a safe work environment at all times, reporting any unsafe issues to the supervisor, are also key duties.
