About The Position

Provides support to the participants of the Cardinal Manning Center (CMC).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any human service-related field
  • Experience with Microsoft office
  • Experience with homeless population

Responsibilities

  • Participate in problem solving, staff and program development with the guidance of supervisor.
  • Provide intense case management services to assigned clients.
  • Develop effective, trusting relationships with clients with a focus on facilitating their move towards independence.
  • Provide crises intervention, short-term and long-term case management services.
  • Housing search and placement for clients including accompanying clients to housing appointments if needed.
  • Provide information, referrals, and social services advocacy.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client information.
  • Network with agency and outside service providers, ensuring client access to appropriate services.
  • In concert with supervisors assume responsibility for attending assigned community meetings. Meetings will be assigned based on the needs of the department.
  • Support to weekly skid row seminar series.
  • Participation in supervision, case management, and staff meetings.
  • Community outreach and collaboration with other social service agencies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
