About The Position

The Case Manager assists students towards self-sufficiency through accountability, mentoring, instruction, and coordination of services. There are currently two schedules available: Schedule A: Saturday -Thursday, hours TBD. This role will be included on the Sunday rotation. Schedule B: Sunday - Saturday, hours TBD.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience in a related field such as in a social work/counseling environment or within a ministry setting.
  • Knowledge and experience working with men, women and children in crisis.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Bible.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups.
  • Ability to add and subtract and to multiply and divide.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
  • Driver’s License
  • Required to drive a DOT Company Vehicle.

Nice To Haves

  • Christian Association of Drug and Alcohol Counselor (CADAC) or Registered Addictions Specialist (RAS) certification desired

Responsibilities

  • Create, implement and execute Individualized Treatment Plans in collaboration with students.
  • Meet weekly with each assigned student to assess progress of ITP and ensure program compliance.
  • Ensure documentation such as case notes, written warnings and goal tracking reports are clear and timely.
  • Participate fully in implementing program changes and directives from management.
  • Provide both practical and biblical assignments that will lead towards growth in struggling areas.
  • Teach new life skills and coping skills, so that students can replace bad behavior with good behavior.
  • Assign appropriate wrap around services such as groups, classes, therapy, law clinic, health clinic, etc.
  • Provide appropriate disciplinary actions up to and including dismissal from program as needed.
  • Conduct med-calls, groups, random drug testing, room checks and morning devotions as needed.
  • Collaborates with outside agency partners such as probation officers, social workers, clinic staff, etc. to support students ITP.
