About The Position

WorkplaceNL administers an injury compensation system for workplaces in Newfoundland and Labrador. We promote safe and healthy workplaces, as well as provide return to work programs and benefits to workers and their dependents. This role involves making a difference in people's lives, finding creative solutions to challenges, and working collaboratively with injured workers, their employers, and a team of professionals.

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in Health Care, Social Sciences or a related area.
• 3 years of experience with responsibilities for an assigned client centered caseload.
• Experience making decisions that impact an individual case.

Responsibilities

• Determines ongoing entitlement to benefits and services related to the compensable injury
• Provides compassionate and supportive services to injured workers to ensure a successful recovery and return to work
• Builds strong and effective working relationships with all stakeholders
• Manages case plans through a collaborative and dynamic approach which considers individual merits and circumstances.
