The Cedar Knolls House, Hard to Place Group Residence, serves girls ages 16 to 21 who exhibit a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges stemming from acute and/or traumatization. All of the youth are referred by the Administration for Children’s Services or Juvenile Justice system. The Group Residence provides supervised living units and programs of therapeutic and recreational services that emphasize family interaction and strengthening of community support networks, as well as increasing independent living skills. The goal for all of our youth is to transition them back to the community within a year of placement to a family member, significant adult connection, achieve housing, higher education, etc. The Case Manager will engage with residents and staff in a manner which promotes positive program participation. The Case Manager will work in conjunction with the Clinical Team to assist with matters relating to our resident population.
