This is a full-time, contract position based on grant funding. The Superior Court of California, County of San Joaquin is now accepting applications for a full-time, Case Manager Contract position in the Collaborative Courts. The ability to speak Spanish is desirable. Case Managers are responsible for performing risk and needs assessments for adult offenders; recommending the appropriate level of treatment; referring clients to treatment and supportive services; monitoring client compliance and progress; adjusting treatment level when necessary; attending court briefings to report client progress; and performing related duties as assigned. Incumbents receive general direction from assigned supervisory or management personnel, and exercise no direct supervision over staff. This is a full journey-level classification. Positions at this level receive ongoing instruction or assistance as new or unusual situations arise. This class is responsible for assessing and recommending treatment levels and options for clients; conducting investigations to monitor progress and ensure compliance; and collaborating with supportive services to help resolve housing, employment and health issues for clients and their families.
