About The Position

Safe Passage is a diagnostic and evaluation facility that works with youth ages 10 to 18. Youth are referred to the program by a DCS case manager or a probation officer to seek a clinical assessment. The youth stay at the locked secure facility for 30 days while a psychologist completes a full diagnostic and assessment. The psychologist will update diagnosis, treatment plans, and future placement options. Youth will leave Safe Passage in the next 30 days after their assessment is completed going on to one of three places: back home with social services in place, to a foster care or group home, or to a residential facility to work on recommendations. After 40 years of improving the lives of youth, Rite of Passage is looking for passionate advocates to continue the legacy of helping young people to become successful adults. As a Case Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to create a positive, safe and supportive environment for the youth we serve while building a career rich in growth opportunities and self-fulfillment.

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor degree in a social services related field
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (we no longer test for THC for pre-employment), physical, and TB test
  • Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 to 2 years experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administrating, developing and facilitating the completion of case plans and treatment programs in accordance with the requests of the placing agency and the needs of each student on their case load.
