Under general supervision, the Case Manager is responsible for supervising client's compliance with release conditions, providing the courts with information to address noncompliance. This role involves maintaining accurate case notes, informing newly released defendants about rules and conditions of release, enforcing conditions, and creating individualized supervision plans. The Case Manager also monitors vendor services, collaborates with criminal justice and human services agencies, screens defendants for support service referrals and substance use, reviews drug test and monitoring reports, apprises the court about violations, and testifies in court when needed. Additionally, the role involves documenting information for monthly reports, responding to inquiries from defendants and the public, and supporting the call center, monitoring unit, and courts as needed.
