About The Position

This position is for New Castle County. Successful candidates will have the ability to effectively engage with youth, families and professionals to develop individualized plans designed to meet family needs and Court requirements. Ability to work as part of a team including professional and non-professional members. The work setting is community-based, with a hybrid work location involving both community and in-office days.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
Relevant experience working with youth and families in the community.
Possess an individual vehicle and valid driver's license.
Reliable access to a vehicle.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good computer skills.
Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
Good time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Comfortable with public speaking.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree preferred.
Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
Familiarity with community-based services in Delaware.
