About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with 18 locations across 7 states, known for its evidence-based clinical curriculum and highly individualized care. They offer programs including detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services. The company is currently hiring a Case Manager for their inpatient detox/residential facility in Aurora, CO. The role involves advocating for clients, managing their accounts, and facilitating comprehensive discharge planning.
Requirements
- If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Warm, empathetic, respectable personality
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Min. 1-year experience in treatment industry preferred
Responsibilities
- Advocate for client, addressing and resolving any external barriers to treatment
- Initiate case management for each client upon intake, addressing any pressing needs
- Oversee client accounts, ensuring insurance is active throughout duration of treatment
- Provide ongoing case management throughout the duration of treatment
- Arrange housing, financial aid, legal aid, vocational training etc. as necessary for client post-discharge
- Facilitate comprehensive discharge planning (continuing care, housing, sober support etc.)
