The Youth Employment Programs builds career awareness and provides employment support for youth aged 16-30. Through career exploration, work readiness training, and employment, the program will provide youth with internship experience, skill-building supports, and exposure to career options and pathways. Programs funded The State of California, The City of Oakland, as well as managing participants under the California Advancing and Innovating Medical (Cal-AIM) Initiative, which provides comprehensive care management to address both clinical and non-clinical needs. The case manager provides job readiness workshops, career counseling, outreach-recruitment for participants & employers, provides ongoing support to these individuals, performs leadership development activities, follow-up and retention services. The position requires outreach work, workshop facilitation, educational resources, work site development, life skills, and case management.
