About The Position

Nite Lines USA is hiring a Case Manager to work for DFCS in DeKalb County, either on the Foster Care unit or the CPS investigations unit. The Case Manager takes immediate and follow-up actions for at-risk clients needing protective services or placement, responds face-to-face to screened-in reports of alleged child maltreatment, assesses and addresses safety concerns, and coordinates services and permanency planning for children and families. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for a 40-hour work week. Compensation is listed as $30.00 per hour, or $32.50 per hour for W2 employment. W2 employees are offered benefits. Mileage for work-related travel is reimbursed at $0.725 per mile. The role requires use of a privately owned vehicle, including for transportation of children, and routinely includes after-hours on-call duty.
