About The Position

BCS is hiring a Case Manager for its Bay Park Family Services program in Coney Island. The role provides case management and needs assessments to residents, along with counseling, referrals, relief, and employment support. The program offers family support services, including financial literacy and health and wellness programs, to help clients and nearby community residents strengthen children’s and families’ emotional, social, and physical well-being. The position is full-time, 35 hours per week, at 2750 West 33rd Street, Brooklyn, NY 11224, and is classified as non-exempt. Salary is $50,000.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or psychology.
• Computer literate.

Nice To Haves

• Case management experience is preferred.
• Bilingual in Chinese or Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and needs assessments to residents.
• Provide counseling and mental health referral services.
• Refer residents for legal guidance and housing support.
• Assess and provide individual relief.
• Evaluate and provide employment support for residents.
• Maintain a milieu relationship within BCS agency programs.
• Create external partnerships.
• Participate in agency-wide groups and meetings as required.
• Assist with the development of funding proposals as needed.
• Perform other tasks as may be required.
