About The Position

Lutheran Family and Children’s Services (LFCS) is seeking a Case Manager/Social Worker to support children and families across Missouri. The role coordinates and provides safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client-centered care. Services include case management, pregnancy counseling, parenting and adoption education, community education and outreach, and post-adoption support for birth parents. The position works with clients to develop service plans and goals that reflect what clients wish to accomplish, then provides counseling, advocacy, and skills teaching in person at home or virtually. The role also responds to client crises promptly and according to program protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or another Human Behavior Science.
• Licensed driver with access to dependable personal transportation and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client-centered care to clients.
• Provide case management, pregnancy counseling, parenting and adoption education, community education and outreach, and post-adoption support for birth parents.
• Develop service plans with clients, including goals and objectives consistent with what clients wish to accomplish.
• Counsel, advocate for, and teach clients skills identified in their service plans, face to face in clients’ homes or virtually.
• Respond to client crisis situations within program parameters and in a timely manner according to program protocols.
