About The Position

As a registered nurse, the Case Manager will concurrently provide an ongoing utilization review while coordinating the discharge plan of patients post hospitalization needs in collaboration with the physicians and other members of the health care team. The Case Manager will cover supervisory responsibilities for the department in the absence of the Manager. This position requires weekend coverage rotations.

Requirements

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing
• Case Management certification with the ACMA within 2 years of hire.
• Three (3) years of acute medical/surgical experience.
• At least two (2) years of managerial or supervisory experience required.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Registered Nurse with current North Carolina or compact state license.
• North Carolina licensure or multistate licensure from a compact state must be obtained within three months of hire for non-North Carolina residents.

Nice To Haves

• Masters of Science in Nursing
• Case Management Certification preferred.
