About The Position

As a Residential Case Manager, you'll be the calm, steady presence that helps someone navigate a difficult time. You'll be the person who notices when a resident is struggling and responds with compassion. You'll teach life skills that transform someone's ability to live independently. You'll advocate for people who've often been overlooked by society. Your work will directly impact lives. You'll witness moments of breakthrough when someone masters a new skill, takes a step toward independence, or simply feels safe and heard. In this role, you're not just supporting recovery; you're restoring hope and rebuilding futures, one meaningful interaction at a time. The people you'll serve aren't statistics or diagnoses—they're individuals with dreams, histories, and the capacity for growth. And you'll be instrumental in helping them realize that capacity.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a Human Services field (Bachelor's preferred)
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds, standing, walking, and assisting with daily living activities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with psychiatrically disabled individuals is valued but not required

Responsibilities

  • Build Meaningful Relationships: Work directly with residents to understand their individual needs, strengths, and goals. Through compassionate assessment and ongoing collaboration, help create personalized pathways toward greater independence and wellbeing.
  • Teach and Empower: Teach household management, nutrition, and daily living skills. Monitor medications, ensure household safety, and create structure that supports healing.
  • Be an Advocate and Bridge: Serve as a vital connection between residents and the broader community, working with families, healthcare providers, and support systems to ensure holistic care. Advocate for clients and help them navigate complex systems with dignity.
  • Collaborate and Grow: Contribute to treatment planning, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and engage in ongoing training as part of a multidisciplinary team.
