About The Position

The vision for the Case Manager position is to empower City Studios residents to achieve long-term housing stability, independence, and personal growth through trauma-informed, strengths-based, and compassionate support. The Case Manager provides services and works directly with individuals, youth and families to promote housing stability, increase self-sufficiency, and support overall well-being. Through engagement, effective resource coordination, and strong collaboration with property management, community partners, and service providers, this role helps cultivate a stable, inclusive, and hopeful environment where residents can access the tools they need to maintain housing and build sustainable futures. Requirements

  • A mature walk with Jesus Christ and able to articulate Biblical beliefs and their application within the context of the Fresno Mission. All employees of Fresno Mission are an integral part of the outreach ministry of a non-denominational, evangelical ministry sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through transformational programs that provide food, shelter, clothing, education, job training and renewal of families to the poor and addicted. All employees are Christian missionaries and are required from time to time to participate in chapel services, outreach ministries, Bible studies and prayer times. Due to the nature of these types of ministries, it is an absolute necessity that each employee possesses and maintain a Christian testimony of their faith and experience in Jesus. Must be in agreement with the Statement of Faith of the Fresno Mission.

Responsibilities

  • Connect residents to resources such as benefits (SSI/SSDI, CalFresh, IHSS, CalFresh, etc), healthcare, mental health services, employment programs, substance use treatment, and education.
  • Work with property manager to address housing concerns.
  • Document service accurately through case notes, and resident records.
  • Work with community partners to ensure residents have access to needed supports.
  • Respond to challenges or crises calmly and support residents in navigating difficult situations.
  • Provide individualized case management services including housing stabilization plans to residents.
  • Maintain regular contact with residents through scheduled meetings and home visits.
  • Assist Property Manager in office coverage.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
