Hospice El Paso is the only non-profit hospice organization in the city, with over 40 years of experience and serving as the largest hospice in the community. Founded by El Pasoans, the organization's mission is to provide specialized care, comfort, and support to individuals with terminal illnesses, irrespective of their financial situation. The primary goal is to enhance the quality of life for patients nearing the end of life, while also offering support to their caregivers and loved ones. Specialized teams, including physicians, registered nurses (RNs), certified nursing assistants, social workers, chaplains, admissions counselors, and support staff, deliver compassionate care. Most services are provided in the patient's home, but hospice care can also be administered in nursing homes, foster homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and skilled nursing facilities. The "Center for Compassionate Care" is El Paso's first standalone in-patient hospice facility, offering acute care in a quiet, comfortable, home-like setting for patients whose pain and symptoms cannot be managed at home, providing 24-hour specialized skilled care. Hospice El Paso seeks passionate, caring professionals committed to excellence to join their team.
