Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in Level III/NICU or Perinatal related unit as a RN.
- Registered Nurse (RN).
- BSN required.
- Current CPR.
Nice To Haves
- Case Management experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collects information from the medical record for severity of illness and intensity of service by applying Milliman (MCG) criteria sets to properly determine NICU levels of care.
- Work collaboratively with payors by submitting clinical records timely for accurate reimbursement.
- Completion of assessments to determine needs of patient for post-acute services, resources, and initiates referrals for NICU infants.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team and parents to develop a safe discharge plan for the infant.
