At Father Joe's Villages, shelter is more than providing a safe place to sleep. It is an opportunity to help individuals build stability, reconnect with resources, and take meaningful steps toward permanent housing. The Transitional Bridge Shelter provides short-term shelter and supportive services for individuals experiencing homelessness. Through housing-focused case management, resource navigation, and coordinated support, we help guests overcome barriers and move toward long-term housing stability and self-sufficiency. Our Case Managers play an important role in that journey. Every day, they build trusting relationships, help clients navigate complex systems, connect individuals to critical resources, and support progress toward housing and personal goals. This is a direct-service role that combines case management, housing-focused planning, resource coordination, advocacy, and crisis support. Successful Case Managers are compassionate, organized, and comfortable working with individuals experiencing homelessness, behavioral health challenges, substance use disorders, financial hardship, and other barriers to stability. Success in this role means building strong relationships with clients, helping individuals access services and resources, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting measurable progress toward housing and self-sufficiency goals. You'll help clients overcome barriers, improve stability, and move closer to permanent housing and long-term success.
