About The Position

Texas Panhandle Centers is seeking a Family Support Specialist Case Manager (1369) to deliver trauma-informed care and skills training to youth (ages 3-17) and families across Dumas, Dalhart, and the surrounding service area of the Texas Panhandle. This role is ideal for human services graduates looking to gain direct clinical experience in a supportive, multi-disciplinary team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related Human Services field.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience directly working with at-risk youth and families.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with an insurable driving record.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Employees may be required to utilize their personal mobile phones for two-factor authentication (2FA).

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus.
• Experience working with at-risk youth and families.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful trauma-informed care language.
• Conduct screening and assessment, crisis intervention, family and individual skills training using evidenced-based curriculum, and community outreach.
• Provide direct, community-based care (approx. 50%+ of working time spent face-to-face or via phone in home/community settings with the youth, family, and/or family support).
• Adhere to TPC Business Code of Conduct and report concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised.
