About The Position
The Villages of Indiana is seeking a skilled Case Manager to join their team as a Case Manager for Family Preservation. This role involves providing home-based services to families involved in the child welfare system, conducting needs and safety assessments, coordinating community resources, and developing rapport using a strengths-based approach.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, or directly related human service field is required
- If degree is BSW, then licensure (LBSW) is required
- Knowledge of community resource
Responsibilities
- Provide home based services to families involved in the child welfare system
- Conduct frequent home visits that will include needs and safety assessments of the parents and children in the home
- Coordinate community resources for the family
- Develop rapport and use a strengths-based approach with the families and children
