About The Position

Join the Hampton–Newport News Community Services Board as a full-time Adult Mental Health Case Manager and help support individuals in need. In this onsite role, you'll work alongside a collaborative team to deliver high-quality mental health services to the Hampton and Newport News community. Since 1971, the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board has provided the highest quality of behavioral health services to residents of the cities of Hampton and Newport News, Virginia, offering a comprehensive array of programs for both children and adults living with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and/or substance use disorders. The Adult Mental Health Case Manager supports continuity of care for adults receiving behavioral health services across Hampton and Newport News. This position coordinates services that help clients stabilize, meet essential needs, and progress toward treatment goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling)
  • One (1) year of case management experience
  • Must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.
