About The Position

Thompson was founded in 1886 as an orphanage and has grown into an organization operating across the Carolinas, Florida, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Thompson’s continuum of care encompasses three domains: prevention, mental health services, and foster care. All Thompson programs are trauma-informed and evidence-based/evidence-informed with the intention of building resilience in our clients (ages 0-18) and their families, both virtually and in person. As a Case Manager Supervisor, you are responsible for daily operational oversight and performance of your perspective program(s). Success will be primarily measured through three core data points: financial performance data, staff retention/engagement data, and program outcomes/quality data. The Program supervisor is expected to model principles of the Leadership Pipeline as a Leader of Others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human services or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a highly performing individual contributor in a related field
  • Child Welfare Certification required
  • Exposure to leadership/management experienced either through short-term project management, coordination, training, or actual leadership positions
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and meet any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as it pertains to the department you are in.
  • Displays the capacity/coachability for future growth and development as a leader.
  • All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test, and an extensive background check is required.
