The Case Management Specialist - Advanced Practice will meet federal and state regulatory guidelines, maintain a caseload, participate in professional development, and independently maintain weekly contacts with children and families. The position involves exercising independent discretion and judgment to assess changes in behavior, circumstances, or conditions affecting child safety. The specialist will provide feedback and support to crisis line staff, engage children and sponsors in the casework process, and document progress toward risk reduction and service goals. Responsibilities include compiling and maintaining accurate records, participating in case staffing meetings, working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, implementing safety protocols, and maintaining confidentiality and professional/ethical standards. Other duties include coordinating referrals, service planning, documentation, acting as a liaison with stakeholders, accepting crisis calls, participating in treatment team meetings, and traveling up to 75% of the time. The role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing treatment plans, and making field decisions regarding child and family safety and well-being, while meeting deadlines and communicating effectively in English and Spanish.
