About The Position
Hope For Youth is looking to hire a Case Aide for our Therapeutic Foster Care Program in Amityville! Hope For Youth is a nonprofit organization striving to provide positive outcomes for children, adolescents, and families for over 50 years. Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED
- A Valid NYS Driver's License in good standing
- Computer Knowledge
- Fluent in English/Spanish preferred
- read/write reports and log entries
- walking/standing/sitting for prolonged periods
- bending/stooping
- kneeling/squatting
- climbing stairs
- reaching overhead
- repetitive wrist/finger movements
- ongoing access to reliable vehicle and driving own vehicle for work (mileage reimbursement available)
Responsibilities
- Function within the policies and procedures as outlined in the program practice guide and employee manual
- Assist casework and home finding staff in daily activities as assigned
- Achieve positive outcomes for clients as part of a team
- Complete all necessary reports, paperwork and forms as outlined in the program guide
- Adhere to state regulations and applicable code of conduct
- Perform other resulting and necessary work to meet the needs and requirements of the clients, the program, Hope For Youth, oversight agency and any other agency and regulatory obligations
- Conducting/supervising visits
- Transporting youth to/from appointments, school, foster home
- Completing documentation
- Maintaining records
- Scheduling appointments
- Casework items as assigned
- Staff meetings/supervision/training
