Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience preferred
Associate’s degree or equivalent
Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and Online, including consulting and troubleshooting
Strong understanding of accounting practices and rules
Effective time management and ability to handle multiple engagements
High level of accuracy in data entry and financial documentation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Professional integrity and ability to handle confidential information

Nice To Haves

CPB and QBO ProAdvisor certifications are highly valued

Responsibilities

Performing bank and credit card reconciliations, managing general ledger entries, and preparing financial statements
Handling full-cycle payroll including quarterly filings, W-2s, and 1099s
Managing accounts payable and receivable functions, including payment processing and deposits
Conducting trust accountings and financial data analysis to support client operations
Implementing tailored accounting processes based on client needs
Maintaining accurate documentation and records, including invoice coding and client file setup
Supporting accounting staff with administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and vendor communications
Collaborating with clients to understand their financial needs and provide customized solutions
