About The Position

GG Advisors, a Kansas City area professional services firm located in Leawood, Kansas, is seeking an accounting professional to support business owners in understanding and using their financial information to achieve their goals. Requirements

At least 1 year of accounting experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Proficiency with accounting software.
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple client deadlines.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of public accounting experience.
Proficiency with QuickBooks and Sage products.
Experience reviewing staff work and communicating directly with clients.
CPA license or active pursuit of the credential.

Responsibilities

Support an assigned portfolio of clients, including day-to-day communication and accounting deliverables.
Participate in client calls to answer questions, explain results, and offer practical insights.
Prepare and review financial statements.
Support the month-end close process for assigned clients.
Provide guidance on financial best practices and help clients optimize their operations.
Assist with new client onboarding.
Assist with internal projects, process improvements, and operational tasks.
