About The Position
The National Solutions Business Area at Leidos currently has an opening for a cleared cartographic analyst to support our customer in St Louis, MO. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience in GIS analysis to support a dynamic national security customer. The successful candidate will work as a member of a government-contractor team providing cartographic production and analysis. The candidate should have a strong geospatial background and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate on projects. This position may be able to be supported partially as a telework position. Position requires a current TS/SCI and willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Degree
- Five years of relevant experience (military or full time geospatial professional work) OR High School and 4 years + GPC level I and II, or relevant Bachelor’s degree + 2 years’ experience
- Experience in geography, cartography and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) which includes skill in ArcGIS applications
- Experience in creating shapefiles, geo-databases, and features
- Knowledge of digital cartography, image processing, geographical information systems (GIS), geospatial production techniques and NGA digital data formats
- Ability to analyze imagery and non-imagery source information for application to NGA hydrographic products and databases.
- Current TS/SCI clearance
- Willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph

Responsibilities
- Provide Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion, Production and Review.
- Provide support to existing and developing mission areas.
- Perform Cartographic and GIS analyst functions for Digital Nautical Chart and/or Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion production.
- Extract features from a variety of sources including rasterized nautical charts, digital hydrographic survey data and ortho-rectified imagery.
- Update source and source catalogs and information.
- Perform Data Conversion/migration.
Benefits
- Pay Range $59,150.00 - $106,925.00
